About Me

Aurora Rae Abraham is a 21-yearold, senior photojournalism major at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. I am currently the editor-in-chief at our student-run newspaper, CM Life. I spent the first 14 years of my life in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida before moving to New England with my parents in December 2014. I attended the Bromfield High School in the small town of Harvard, Massachusetts where my passion for photography was born. On my sixteenth birthday, my parents gave me my first camera. By my senior year of high school, I was exploring journalism through sports reporting at The Harvard Press, the town newspaper. I am passionate about human - and animal - connection and understanding; I am fascinated with exploration and adventure. My goal is to inform the perspective with which we see the world; and affect and educate humans on issues threatening not only humanity, but all beings, animals, plants and of course... Earth. My motivation is driven by what I feel is my mission to save the wonders of the world.
